Glenn Candeletti, PhD, SAE

As Founder of The Stress Center, P.C., now Critical Assessments, Dr. Candeletti began his professional career providing evaluative services to New Jersey based companies like Exelon Nuclear Corporation, JCP&L, Ciba Geigy, Community Medical Center, Southern Ocean County Hospital, and local first responder companies like the Lacey Township Police Department, both Toms River Fire Commissioners amongst others. Since that time, he expanded the scope and reach of TSC by establishing contracts to provide services with over 50 nuclear generating stations from Maine to Florida and from New Jersey to Arizona. Additionally, he established contracts with many service companies including General Electric Company, Westinghouse, Seimens Westinghouse, The Atlantic Group, Day and Zimmerman, Williams Plant Services, and BHI Energy servicing the nuclear industry nationally. The Stress Center is the largest company of its kind in the United States. Dr. Candeletti is a pioneer in the field of Telepsychology/Telehealth, utilizing video teleconferencing technology to provide 100 % on site assessment, training and consultation to single and multi-site companies across the country, a program he started in 2001. After 37 highly successful years, The Stress Center is changing it's name to Critical Assessments and expanding beyond the nuclear power industry to include all corporate and industrial companies who are seeking assessment services to determine trustworthiness, reliability and stability of their pre-employment and current employee populations as well as training programs for supervisory staff on a nationwide level. CA's newest relationships have included many first responder companies and large corporations assessing corporate pilots and aviation mechanics, engineers, IT personnel, firemen, EMS and EMTs, private security, bodyguards and more. Dr. Candeletti has over 39 years of industrial and organizational experience.

Peter P. Oropeza, PsyD, SAE

Dr. Peter Oropeza has over twenty years of experience as a psychologist working with county, state, and federal government agencies as well as small and fortune 500 companies in the areas of conflict management, violence assessment and prevention, pre-hire and development assessments, leadership effectiveness and executive coaching, and improving workplace culture. Dr. Oropeza integrates his education and experience in the behavioral sciences to provide effective consultation and training to organizations and coaching to leaders across a wide range of industries nationally and internationally. 

Dr. Oropeza has a unique background that includes formal training as a forensic and consulting psychologist. Regarding his forensic training, he completed a pre-doctoral internship at a forensic hospital in Florida and his postdoctoral year at a federal prison in New Jersey, where in combination he received specialized training in evaluating violence risk and consulting on critical incident issues. He then held employment at the only maximum-security forensic hospital in Texas where he was ultimately the Chief Psychologist on an evaluation unit. He began private practice in 2003 and has since been retained in numerous high-profile capital criminal cases and has consulted on a number of civil cases related to workplace issues including the disaster involving the BP Explosion in Texas City in 2005. Additionally, he has consulted with a number of organizations on issues related to violence screening and prevention by focusing on a values based culture and has presented on numerous occasions in the area of workplace and individual violence issues. Since 2007, he has consulted with a leading provider of unescorted access authorization assessments in the commercial nuclear power industry. 

Dr. Oropeza earned his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (2000) from the Forest Institute of Professional Psychology in Springfield, Missouri and a Bachelor of Science in psychology (1996) from Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. He is a Licensed Psychologist in Texas (# 3-2020), New Jersey (# 4494), and New York (# 023365) and is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Society of Consulting Psychology, and the American Psychology-Law Society. He has also served on the Public Education and Anti-Bullying Committee of the New Jersey Psychological Association, was on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters in Mercer County, New Jersey for five years, and nearly ten years consulted with Job Corps, a national program of the Department of Labor serving young adults . 

Anna Lawler, PhD, SAE

Dr. Anna Lawler is a clinical and forensic psychologist who specializes in psychological assessment. Dr. Lawler has been evaluating individuals in various settings including inpatient, correctional, community, and nuclear sites for over 20 years. Dr. Lawler has been retained by the Court, attorneys, and nuclear power companies to conduct assessments and to provide expert testimony on an array of topics including risk assessment, fitness for duty, competency, mental status at the time of the offense, sentencing mitigation, and access authorization for nuclear facilities. 

Dr. Lawler has a history of working in mental health including employment with Trenton Psychiatric Hospital (TPH) in Trenton, NJ, the Ann Klein Forensic Center (AKFC) the NJ state forensic hospital in Trenton, NJ, and the Philadelphia Mental Health Care Corporation (PMHCC) in Philadelphia, PA, a not-for-profit organization that provides mental health services for the City of Philadelphia.

From 2008 to 2014 Dr. Lawler was also the Clinical Director at Allied Associates In Mental Health (AAMH) and her duties included supervising and training psychologists and other mental health professionals. Dr. Lawler is also a certified Substance Abuse Evaluator in the nuclear industry.

Dr. Lawler has an MA in clinical psychology from MCP Hahnemann and a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. She graduated from Colgate University in Hamilton, NY with BA in history and psychology. Dr. Lawler a Licensed Psychologist in both NJ (#7300) and PA (#5626) and is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Pennsylvania Psychological Association, and the American Psychology-Law Society.
